 IMPORTANT: "Latin Tours Online" is owned and operated by Travel and Tours Online Inc., a Florida - USA corporation, from hereon further to be referred to as "The Company". All tour companies, travel agencies, entities and the traveling public in general who book any type of travel arrangements using The Company and its Travel Suppliers' services will, from hereon further, be referred to as "Clients".

All Terms of Service and General Conditions, as described herein, govern the relationship between Travel and Tours Online Inc. (The Company) and their Clients.

- RESPONSIBILITIES -

  
The Company
gives hereby notice: All tickets, vouchers and coupons issued by them and all arrangements for transportation, accommodations or any other type of service are made by them as agents upon expressed condition that they shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be caused either by reason of any defect in any type of vehicle, or through the acts of default of any company or person engaged in conveying the passengers therewith, or of any hotel or establishment server. By the acceptance of tour membership and/or coupons/tickets, the tour member agrees to the foregoing. Tour member also agrees that The Company shall not be, or become, liable or responsible for any loss, injury or damage due to services, sickness, weather, strikes, war, revolts, criminal activity, acts of terrorism, quarantine, or any other causes. The Company accepts no responsibility for any omission, delay, rerouting, additional expenses, or other events resulting from improper health certificates or documents, or acts of any governments authorities. Tour operators reserve the right to cancel any tour prior to departure, in which case a monetary refund, equal to the amount of the lost services pertaining to this portion of the tour will constitute full settlement with the passengers.

- TOUR  PARTICIPATION -


The Company reserves the right to deny tour participation to any prospect client at its own discretion.

- QUOTATIONS
-

All rates quoted are in US dollar unless otherwise indicated. Should there be any expected changes on rates of third party services, prior advisory will be made.

- LIABILITIES  /  CONDITIONS -


The Company is acting as an intermediary between airlines, any type of transportation company, local tour operators, tour companies, hotels, resorts, lodges or companies who provide any other type of accommodations, restaurants, bars and other contractors who provide any type of service to our clients. As such, The Company is not liable, or can not be held liable, by their clients (companies, entities and traveling public) for any loss, injury sustained from any cause that is due to negligence, oversight or failure to comply with conditions of the above mentioned parties,
including those occurring outside the touring programs and services.
 

Furthermore, The Company can not be held responsible for accidental bodily injury to any client (tourist) or accidental damage to property that is caused by the negligence, oversight, or failure to comply with the conditions as set by The Company, including those outside the touring programs and services (also see INSURANCE).

 

The Company is NOT responsible for additional expenses due to delay, accidents, sickness, weather, strikes,
political actions and unrest or other causes. Additional expenses are the sole responsibility of our clients (tourists). The Company reserves the right to cancel a tour at any time after the programs, packages, itineraries and accommodations have been reserved if called so by circumstances, or in case of force majeure.
 

All prices quoted by The Company are based on those valid at the time of printing and are therefore subject to change without advance notice before or during the tour.

- INSURANCE -


The Company is not responsible, or liable, for any loss, damage or theft to luggage and personal belongings. Furthermore, The Company is not or can not be held responsible for any illness to clients at any time during the trip. All clients should contract, on an individual basis, sufficient insurance coverage for accident, loss of personal belongings and baggage as well as medical and surgical coverage, prior to departure from their hometown. We also strongly suggest our clients to contract trip insurance with a responsible insurance company. This type of insurance will cover clients in case they have to interrupt or cancel their trip due to an emergency or other circumstances to be set forth by the terms and coverage of the insurance company.

- RESERVATIONS -


Our reservation process is designed to be user friendly, however, due to the time difference between the Latin American and Asian countries in which we offer our services and the USA, Europe or any other region of the world where our clients may generate their travel plans from, a delay of 24 to 48 hours in confirming your reservations may occur. We will do whatever possible to keep our clients updated on the progress of confirmation of their travel itinerary. More complex "tailor made" itineraries may require additional time to process. We appreciate your understanding. reservation requests can be made in writing, by phone, fax or via our preferred method, e-mail. All reservations will be confirmed via e-mail. Confirmation invoices will be send via e-mail or regular mail if so requested. Upon receipt of final payment The Company will issue the final itinerary and corresponding travel vouchers in behalf of the airlines, any type of transportation company, local tour operators, tour companies, hotels, resorts, lodges or companies who provide any other type of accommodations, restaurants, bars and other contractors who provide any type of service to our clients. We will also issue the last invoice with a $0.00 (zero) balance.

- DEPOSITS  -
(all amounts in US dollars) -


A minimum initial deposit, in the amount of $250,00 per person *, is due upon receipt of your itinerary / confirmation invoice. We reserve the right to cancel all services if the initial deposit has not been received within 10 (ten) days after the date posted on the confirmation invoice. An additional deposit, equal to 50% of the total invoice amount is due 120 days before the initial travel date as posted on the confirmation invoice. Additional deposits may be required for group reservations, charter services (boats, buses, accommodations etc.).

- PAYMENTS  -
(all payments in US dollars) -

We require pre-payment in full for all services to be provided by The Company and/or its service providers at least 60 days in advance. Services will not be provided if final payment has NOT been received unless special arrangements have been agreed upon in writing between both parties.

 

Payment Options
- Bank transfer payments / Bank transfers should be remitted to our bank account (details will be supplied on your invoice). A
ll fees or charges for bank transfers to be paid by clients.
- Personal or Business checks / We only accept personal or business checks drawn over a US bank. NO NON US checks can be accepted due to high costs and long clearance wait periods involved.
- Credit card payments
/ we accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover.
All card payment transactions are subject to a 4% processing fee / surcharge.

- FINAL PAYMENTS -

Final payments are due NO LATER than 60 days before the first day of travel as indicated on the confirmation invoice. Late payments are subject to cancellation of the reservation without prejudice.

- TOUR  CANCELLATIONS
-


The Company reserves the right to cancel any or all tours, packages or any type of service we offer due to circumstances out of our control (war, revolt, political unrest etc.). In case of any type of tour cancellation we will contact our clients as soon as possible and will discuss refunds on a case to case basis depending on deposits paid to local operators in South America and Asia. Tour cancellations will only be considered in extreme conditions when the safety of the tour and tour participants could be at stake.

- CHILDREN  POLICY  AND  DISCOUNTS -


The Company policy for children depends greatly on conditions set forth by the companies (travel suppliers) we use in the different countries in which we offer services. As most of our services will require some physical activity we discourage our clients (tourist) to travel with small children under the age of seven years and we rely on common sense.
Most companies (travel suppliers) we work with will grant children between the ages of 2 and 12 years a 50% discount on transfers, tours, cruises etc. provided that they share their room with adults. In most cases a maximum of two children per party is granted such discounts but exceptions to this rule are possible. Children requiring their own rooms are charged as adults. All child discounts (if applicable) for a specific reservation will be confirmed in writing by The Company on the confirmation invoice.

- CANCELLATION  POLICY -


The Company reserves the right to cancel any or all services if an initial deposit has not been received within 10 (ten) days after the date posted on the confirmation invoice. Non payment of the final balance due 60 days prior to the initial date of travel is considered a valid reason to cancel all services by The Company and NO refunds will be due to our clients. All clients have the right to cancel their reservation at any time but are subject to our cancellation fees (see "Cancellation fees").

- CANCELLATION  FEES
 -  (all amounts in US dollars) -


A minimum cancellation fee, in the amount of $250.00 per person, will be charged to ALL cancellations received in writing after the initial deposit has been received. Additional cancellation fees may be due as charged by airlines, any type of transportation company, local tour operators, tour companies, hotels, resorts, lodges or companies who provide any other type of accommodations, restaurants, bars and other contractors who provide any type of service to our clients. We strongly recommend trip cancelation insurance.

- REFUNDS -


NO refunds are due if clients cancel their reservation within 60 days of the first day of travel as indicated on the confirmation invoice. Any reservations cancelled in writing 61 days or more before the first day of travel as indicated on the confirmation invoice, will be refunded the amount deposited at that time minus our minimum cancellation fee (see "Cancellation fees"). Refunds amounts may depend on additional cancellation fees that may be charged to us by airlines, any type of transportation company, local tour operators, tour companies, hotels, resorts, lodges or companies who provide any other type of accommodations, restaurants, bars and other contractors who provide any type of service to our clients. FULL refunds will be due to our clients if The Company decides to cancel the tour prior to its initial date. (also see Tour cancellation)

- CORRESPONDENCE  /  MAIL -


The Company prefers to communicate via e-mail and phone with their clients. Upon request we will send correspondence (itineraries, invoices, vouchers) via regular mail without additional cost to our client. In case we are required to send vouchers or any type of documents via FedEx, UPS, Express mail or any other means we will charge our clients for these additional expenses. Additional expenses will be shown on the invoice.

- HOTELS,  RESORTS  AND  LODGES -


Hotel, Resort and Lodge rates in most cases include taxes and service charges. If included these taxes and service charges will be specified on the invoices. All rates are subject to change without prior notice. Passenger / Rooming lists are required 60 days prior to the arrival of groups (15 persons or more), as well as arrival and departure flight details if not booked with The Company.

- TOURS  AND  TRANSFERS -


The Company and the companies we work with in South America and Asia will only provide the best private transportation available. Where possible, air-conditioned transportation will be provided. In certain areas, where air-conditioned transportation is not available, non air-conditioned cars, jeeps or buses will be used. Transfer rates (if applicable) include airport assistance on arrival. Hotel and airport porter fees are normally not included. Airport taxes and terminal fees will be charged to clients locally. Sightseeing tour rates may include guided services, entrance fees to attractions, meals and boat rides as indicated on the invoice.

- INTERNATIONAL  AND  DOMESTIC  AIRPORT  DEPARTURE  TAXES -


International and/or local (domestic) airport taxes are NEVER included in any of our programs. International airport departure taxes may be high in certain countries. Please have additional CASH at hand to cover these expenses as in most countries credit cards are NOT accepted. More information on local airport taxes may be available on our page "USEFUL TRAVEL INFORMATION" under "AIRPORT TAXES" in the city you wish to visit.
